BRAX™: bridge access and egress mats

Mobi-mat® BRAX™ matting solutions are dedicated to deployable bridges. The BRAX™ range offers specific ground reinforcement for military engineering bridges. BRAX™ solutions improve the ground load-bearing capability at the entrance and the exit of the bridges. It performs with classic military dry bridges and also with floating bridges. These matting equipements give the best load-bearing capability on non-stable soils. For sand or mud riverside, BRAX™ allows heavy vehicle traffic.

BRAX™ mats are designed by Mobi-mat® in order to be robust. They assure hundreds of vehicle traffic on soft soils. The BRAX™ solutions meet the highest requirements in terms of MLC (Military Load Classification) and CBR (Californian Bearing Ratio).

BRAX™ XE – Bridge composite reinforced access and egress

The BRAX™ XE is a lightweight reinforced access mat for deployable bridges. Made from Mobi-mat® 3D technical fabric, the BRAX™ XE is reinforced with high resistance composite rods. It allows the traffic of the heaviest vehicles. Thanks to its lightweight structure, it can be operated manually without need of mechanical dispenser. It can also be deployed by deployment systems such as front-loader, trailer or truck dispensers. The BRAX™ XE can be installed in moments at the entrance or the exit of the bridge. These heavy duty composite reinforced mats assure the ground stability for assault troops armored vehicles, for logisitics operation or humanitarian aid.

BRAX™ FCR – Bridge aluminium access and egress

The BRAX™ FCR is a new generation of heavy duty access mats for deployable bridges. Made from Mobi-mat® FCR high resistance aluminium alloy, it performs in the worst operational cases. This high performance bridge access allows the traffic of the heaviest tracked vehicles. Its high resistance aluminium alloy material allows high intensity use in very demanding environment like salted mud or abrasive gravel. The BRAX™ FCR is limitless, it gives vehicles the capability to drive on very soft soils and very low CBR (Californian Bearing Ratio). It is installed in minutes thanks to a simple front loader, a trailer dispenser or a truck-mounted dispenser.
